For my second book I have been reading "OverDrive", its a really interesting novel that keeps you reading, its almost like a page turner. Its about how a guy named Jake borrows his brothers car for the night because he got his license and goes cruising with his friend downtown. They were just about to come home, but Jake met up with a friend at a red light, and they street raced, Jake's friend got into an accident and now Jake has to decide if he is going to call the police and tell them that he was the one who his friend raced against, or if he is going to walk away from it and hopes no one finds out about it. If I had the ability to trade places with Jake, first of all I wouldn't have even raced with the other guy even if I really hated him or had past grudges. But if I did end up racing him I would clearly go to the cops, also call an ambulance right away instead of driving away from the scene. I would have acted way different and made smarter choices that could save other people lives and not live life in fear because of something stupid i did.

English 11 Book Impressions
For the last week I have been reading the book "Yellow Line". So far I have found this short and simple novel interesting. It really shows us as audiences that two different kind of races of people-abroginal and white can really become close and start seeing eachother in a different way that makes them friends you can call it. This story is about a vince trying to protect his friend from falling in love with an indian boy. Vince lives in a small town that is divided right down the middle, indians on one side, whites on the other. But as the story progresses Vince stops caring about his friend sherry, because he seems to believe he has fallen for an indian girl himself, everyday he thinks about her and just cant stop. If I was in Vince's shoes I too would have left sherry and her indian boyfriend alone, you can't stop love, the heart wants what it wants. I would worry about my problem with the indian girl I was falling in love in, and how my parents would react. I think im pretty similar in a kind of way with Vince, I would try making the natives and whites closer and stop all the beef that is going on. Also Vince didn't tell her parents about the indain girl he likes, i would have done the same thing. This book is recommended for people who like books that are short but keep their eyes glued onto the pages, a page turner.

7. In 250 words, create your ideal place.
If I had to create an ideal place it would be a mansion on an island, it would be pretty close to the city becasue whenever I felt like it I can take my boat and go to my second manshion which would be in L.A. My mansion on the island would have 6 stories, each floor having its on purpose. On the first floor i will have a huge pool, second floor for my lawyers, thrid floor for my doctors, fourth floor for my basketball court, 5th floor i will have my own restaurant and cooks always preparing food for me, and finally the 6th floor is for all the bedrooms and washrooms, and a huge theatre room. For my mansion in L.A its going to be a 4 story house. It will have under ground parking for all my cars, First floor will be a huge gym, second floor a pool, Third floor theatre room, and 4th floor bedrooms and washrooms. My main three cars are going to be a Bmw m3, Nissian Skyline, and a Bentley. Also on the top of my mansion in L.A there will be a helipad, for my jets to land on. The two houses combined are going to be worth about 25 million dollars. My cars and jets are going to be worth about 100 million dollars. I will be known as the richest man in the world. But I wont be greedy, every year I will donate money to charity's.
Top 3 Basketball Players (Active Players)
I will base my criteria on these characteristics:
1. Points Scored
2. Championships Won
3. Years Played
#1. Kobe bryant
Kobe was drafted in 1996 straight from high school, he was only 18 years old! He got drafted 13th overall. He got drafted to Charlotte, currently he is playing for the L.A Lakers. So far he has almost scored 31,000 points, he is 5th in NBA's all time scoring leaders. He has been playing in the league for 17 years now. Kobe is 34 years old, about to turn 35. Bryant currently has 5 championship rings. He is on a mission to get that 6th ring and tie Michael Jordan who also got 6 rings in his time.
#2. Lebron James
Lebron entered the league in 2003 also straight from high school! He was the #1 pick in the draft in 2003. He got drafted to the Cleveland Cavaliers, James played there for 7 seasons and no results. James as talented he is just couldn't come up with a ring to show. So he decided to take his talents to south beach and joined the Miami Heat. First year with them he just came short, loosing in the finals. But finally in his 10th year in the NBA he got a ring! Lebron is currently in his 11th season, he is 28 years of age. He plans to get alot more of championships, he has made that promise to everybody. He plans to beat the great Jordan. He has scored almost 21,00 points in his career and that puts his in 38 in all time scoring leaders.
#3. Dwayne wade
Wade was also drafted in the year of 2003, he was 5th overall. He got drafted when he was just a junior at a college he was playing at. Dwayne wade got drafted to the Miami Heat where he has been playing there since day 1. He has been in the league for 10 years now, he is 31 years of age. Wade currently has 2 championship rings, but with Lebron James on his side, he will get a lot more. Wade has scored about 17,000 in his young career.

Chaning History
The Event I would want to go back to is when I started playing basketball, I started playing basketball in grade 6, if I started playing basketball at an earlier age, and continued to keep practicing daily I would really be a good player by now. I could have a chance at playing college basketball, I could have had people scouting me. All the NBA players started at an early age, some picked up a basketball at an age of just 3-4. If you want to make it somewhere in sports you really need to start at an early age and keep on going and never look back. Also I would like to go back to when I got my knee injury on the first day of tryouts this year, I was really excited to play this upcoming year. I really believed we had a good season in store for us, we had a lot of talent. I should've really stretched not just my knee but my whole body a lot more before I started playing. At first I thought it was just a little injury and I could be back and playing in a week or two, but it ended up being pretty bad, it turned out that I tore my MCL and I might need surgery. So I didn't play at all this season. Hopefully I can play next year and my knee doesn't become an issue not just for next year for playing basketball but for the rest of my life.
